Kim Ji-Yeon

Abstract
"This study was conducted to investigate the mediating effect of cognitive emotion regulation on the relationship between maternal psychological control and smart-phone addiction tendency perceived by elementary school students.
For this purpose, 487 elementary school students in Seoul were enrolled in the study. The measurement tools were self-report questionnaire for three areas of psychological addiction tendency of adolescent toward smart-phone, psychological control of mothers perceived by elementary students, and adaptive cognitive emotional regulation being used.
Based on the collected data, we analyzed using SPSS 23.0 statistical program and Mplus7. In order to examine the general tendency of mothers psychological control, cognitive emotion regulation strategy and smartphone addiction tendency measurement variables perceived by elementary students, correlation analysis was conducted to examine the relationship between descriptive statistics and each variables. In order to evaluate the mediating effect, we presumed the structural equation model and divided it into adaptive cognitive emotional control and maladaptive cognitive emotional control.
The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, there was a significant correlation between mothers 'psychological control and smart-phone addiction tendency. Especially, mother' s psychological control factors were highly correlated with criticism.
On the other hand, mothers' psychological control did not have a statistically significant effect on adaptive cognitive emotional regulation, but statistically significant statistical impact on maladaptive cognitive emotional control strategy. Second, maladaptive cognitive emotional regulation strategies have a correlative effect on the tendency to addicted to smart-phone.
Among them, there was a strong correlation between the accusations of other people and the weakness of smart-phone addiction. In addition, adaptive cognitive emotional regulation strategies have a statistically significant negative impact on the tendency to addicted to smart-phones. Third, as a result of the mediating effects of the adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategy and the maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategy, the partial mediation effect of the maladaptive cognitive emotional control strategy in the path from the mother's psychological control to the smartphone addiction tendency was significant.
The results of this study suggest that the higher the perceived mother 's psychological control, increases the maternal perception of maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation and the tendency of addiction of smart-phone is increased.
It is meaningful to provide empirical evidence of parental control and understanding of maternal and emotional control of mothers ' psychological controls by identifying the relationship between mother and child's emotional control and emotional awareness of the tendency of mothers to influence their addiction to older adults."
